Summary

This study tested a special group therapy program designed to help survivors of the 2023 Turkey earthquakes. The program, called Culturally Adapted Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CA-CBT), aimed to reduce psychological distress and depression while improving well-being. Researchers compared the therapy to standard care in 60 adult survivors who were experiencing significant distress.
