New therapy aims to ease the fear of dying for cancer patients
NCT ID NCT07105033
Summary
This study is testing a new counseling program called Focused Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (FACT) to see if it helps people with advanced cancer manage their fear and anxiety about death. The researchers want to know if the program is practical, acceptable to patients, and if it can improve their quality of life and emotional well-being. The trial will involve about 70 participants who will either receive the FACT program or continue with their usual care.
