Summary
This study tested whether adding a psychological therapy program before weight loss surgery could help patients. 94 adults preparing for surgery were randomly assigned to receive either the therapy or standard care. The goal was to see if the therapy helped patients develop healthier eating habits to make the surgery's benefits last longer.
