Summary
This study tested a new combination of thalidomide and chemotherapy (nab-paclitaxel, gemcitabine, and epirubicin) in 20 children with yolk sac tumor that had come back or stopped responding to standard treatments. The goal was to see if this approach could shrink tumors or lower a key tumor marker (AFP). The study is complete, but results are not yet reported.
