First seen Jun 25, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026 · Updated 1 time

Summary

This Phase 3 trial tests a new topical solution called TH07 for male pattern baldness. It combines three active ingredients (minoxidil, finasteride, and latanoprost) to see if it grows more hair than standard minoxidil or a placebo. 420 men aged 18-49 with moderate hair loss will apply the treatment daily for 24 weeks, and hair growth will be measured using special photography.

What this could mean

Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only — not medical advice or a prediction.

Active substance
TH07 (a combination of minoxidil, finasteride, and latanoprost)
What this could lead to
If successful, TH07 could offer a more effective topical treatment for male pattern baldness, potentially increasing hair count and thickness better than current options.
What could go wrong
This is a Phase 3 trial, but results may not show a significant advantage over existing treatments. Side effects from the drug combination are possible, and individual results vary.
