First Real-World glimpse at asthma drug before market launch

NCT ID NCT06487065

Summary

This study looked back at medical records to see how 33 patients with severe, hard-to-control asthma responded to the drug tezepelumab in real Spanish clinics. The goal was to gather the first information on how the drug worked outside of formal clinical trials, specifically for patients who received it through a special access program before it was commercially available. Researchers collected data on asthma attacks, lung function, and quality of life to understand the drug's effects in everyday practice.
