VA tests texting to boost virtual care for veterans with lung disease

Summary

This study aims to test a new program that uses text messages to educate Veterans with COPD about virtual healthcare options like telehealth and patient portals. The goal is to see if this texting program is easy to use and acceptable to patients and their care teams. Researchers will enroll 40 Veterans to try the program and measure if it increases their awareness and interest in using virtual care services.
