Summary

This study tests whether sending parents behaviorally informed text messages can help them better secure firearms and medications after their teen's suicide-related emergency room visit. About 129 parents and their teens (ages 12-17) will take part. The goal is to reduce the teen's access to lethal means and prevent future suicide attempts.
