NCT ID NCT05217108

First seen Nov 15, 2025 · Last updated Jun 16, 2026 · Updated 32 times

Summary

This study tests whether an 8-week program of text messages can help people who sit a lot (over 6 hours a day) reduce their sedentary time. About 228 adults with smartphones will receive texts encouraging them to be more active, and their daily sitting minutes will be tracked with a Fitbit. The goal is to see if simple phone reminders can improve healthy habits.
