Can daily texts ease anxiety in older adults with memory concerns?

NCT ID NCT07332624

Summary

This small pilot study is testing whether daily text messages based on acceptance and commitment therapy can help reduce anxiety, depression, and other mood symptoms in older adults with mild cognitive impairment. The 40 participants will receive automated supportive messages on their smartphones, with some getting extra chat support from a research assistant. The goal is to see if this approach is practical and helpful for managing emotional challenges that often come with memory concerns.
