Text messages aim to lift spirits of stressed Alzheimer's caregivers

Summary
This study is testing a text message support program called CuidaTEXT for Latino caregivers of family members with Alzheimer's or related dementias. Researchers want to see if receiving daily tips, education, and encouragement via text can help reduce caregivers' feelings of depression and stress. The program will be compared against not receiving the texts to measure its effectiveness over six months.
