Summary
This study aims to see if a new system of text message reminders and advice helps people with type 2 diabetes stick to their gum care plan better than standard check-ups alone. It will involve over 500 adults in France who have both diabetes and a treated gum disease called periodontitis. The main goal is to find out if this extra support leads to better long-term blood sugar control over two years.
