Summary

This study is testing whether sending text message reminders and educational tips helps pregnant women with diabetes better follow their recommended care plan. Researchers enrolled 185 pregnant women with diabetes and randomly assigned some to receive the text messages. The goal is to see if this simple, low-cost support improves appointment attendance, medication use, and blood sugar tracking to reduce health risks for both mother and baby.
