Can a simple text boost cancer screening rates?
NCT ID NCT04343950
Summary
This study tested whether sending text message reminders could get more people to participate in routine cancer screening programs. Researchers compared text messages to standard mail reminders for over 44,000 people eligible for breast or colorectal cancer screening. They measured whether texts improved participation rates and were cost-effective compared to traditional mail.
