Summary
This pilot study tested whether a text-based reward program could help 20 adults stick with smoking cessation counseling and medication. Participants received texts encouraging them to complete quitline calls and take varenicline pills. The goal was to see if this approach is feasible and acceptable for helping people quit smoking.
