Summary
This study tested whether a single therapy session could reduce traumatic memories after childbirth. Mothers who experienced distressing flashbacks played the game Tetris after briefly recalling their birth experience. Researchers compared 120 women who received immediate treatment to those who waited, measuring changes in memory frequency and PTSD symptoms.
