Can a nasal spray help heal nerves after spinal injury?
NCT ID NCT06130449
Summary
This small pilot study aims to understand if a single dose of testosterone given as a nasal spray can quickly improve nerve and heart function in male veterans with spinal cord injury. Researchers will measure muscle and heart rate responses in 15 men (10 with injury, 5 without) shortly after receiving the spray. The goal is to gather initial data to see if this approach is worth testing in a larger future trial.
