Summary
This study aims to understand why people with spinal cord injuries have a higher risk of heart attacks and strokes. Researchers will compare blood vessel function in men with recent spinal injuries who have low versus normal testosterone levels. By measuring how well blood vessels relax and how certain particles in the blood affect vessel cells, they hope to learn if low testosterone contributes to the problem.
