Can your smartphone replace a sleep lab?
NCT ID NCT04943562
Summary
This study is testing whether a combination of wearable devices (like a headband that measures brain waves and a wrist sensor) and a smartphone app can accurately track a person's sleep stages. Researchers will compare the results from these portable devices to the 'gold standard' overnight sleep lab test (polysomnography). The study will involve 96 people, including both healthy volunteers and people with sleep disorders like insomnia or sleep apnea.
