Can a tablet keep you safe at home after surgery?
NCT ID NCT03464721
Summary
This study tested a tablet device called SMART ANGEL that lets patients record and send health measurements from home after outpatient surgery. Researchers wanted to see if patients could easily use the device to track blood pressure, heart rate, and oxygen levels, and if the data collected was accurate. The goal was to understand if this technology could help monitor recovery outside the hospital.
