First seen Jan 09, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 21 times

Summary

This study tests whether a common antibiotic (ceftriaxone) given as a rectal suppository works as well as the standard IV injection. 37 healthy Thai adults will try both forms and have their blood levels measured. The goal is to find a needle-free option for patients who cannot get IV treatment.
