Scientists test 'Living Drug' on Mini-Tumors in the lab
NCT ID NCT05007379
Summary
This study aims to collect tumor and blood samples from 100 people with breast cancer. Researchers will use these samples to grow miniature 3D tumor models (organoids) in the lab. They will then test whether newly developed CAR-macrophages—a type of engineered immune cell—can effectively attack and destroy these cancer models.
