Summary
This study is testing new plastic tubes used to connect patients to a heart-lung bypass machine during certain heart surgeries. The goal is to see if these new tubes are as safe and work as well as the tubes doctors already use. The study will involve 80 adults having planned heart surgery and will compare the new tubes to a commonly used brand.
