Smartphone app takes the wheel: testing a Hands-Off insulin system

NCT ID NCT07087340

Summary

This study is testing the early feasibility of a new automated insulin delivery system for adults with Type 1 diabetes. A smartphone app will use data from a glucose sensor to automatically control an insulin pump. The goal is to see if this 'hybrid closed-loop' system works reliably and safely in a small group of participants.
