Summary
This study tested a program called the Individualized Positive Psychosocial Intervention (IPPI) in 108 nursing home residents with dementia and signs of distress or depression. Care partners offered two short, preference-based activities each week for six months. The goal was to see if the program was practical and could help improve mood and behavior.
