Study tests online tool to deliver genetic cancer results, aims to bridge access gap

NCT ID NCT04407611

Summary

This study is testing two different ways to share genetic test results related to breast cancer risk with African American women. Researchers want to see if an online, self-guided program works as well as the standard method of a phone call with a genetic counselor. The goal is to find more scalable ways to give people important health information while understanding how it affects their knowledge, decisions, and emotional well-being.
