New heart test aims to tame stubborn chest pain after stents

NCT ID NCT07449052

Summary

This study aims to see if performing extra tests on heart function during a standard stent procedure leads to better relief of chest pain and improved quality of life. It will compare 450 patients who get the extra tests and targeted treatment to those who only get the standard stent procedure. The goal is to find a more personalized approach to managing chest pain in people with blocked heart arteries.
