Scientists test human cells to build a better medical patch
NCT ID NCT02439047
Summary
This was a laboratory study that tested two different sources of human cells to see which one could be better for making a non-stick medical patch. Researchers collected small tissue samples from six patients during surgery and grew the cells in a lab. The goal was to compare the cells and learn which source worked best, but the study was stopped early.
