Scientists grow Mini-Tumors in lab to find better cancer drugs

NCT ID NCT06782451

Summary

This study aims to improve cancer treatment by creating better lab models for testing drugs. Researchers will collect small pieces of tumor from patients during their normal care. They will grow these samples into 3D clusters called 'spheroids' to test how different anti-cancer drugs might work on that specific type of cancer.
