Scientists map hidden effects of common painkillers in human blood
NCT ID NCT02095288
Summary
This study aims to understand how different anti-inflammatory drugs, including some new experimental ones, affect a wide range of fat-based chemicals in human blood. Researchers will take blood from 30 healthy volunteers and test the drugs in a lab setting, not inside the body. The goal is to discover previously unknown effects of these drugs, which could suggest new uses or reveal hidden side effects.
