Lab tests aim to predict best blood cancer drugs

NCT ID NCT04263181

Summary

This study aims to see if testing cancer cells in a lab dish can predict which chemotherapy drugs will work best for patients with acute myeloid leukemia (AML) or myelodysplastic syndromes (MDS). Researchers will collect blood samples from 80 adults before and after they start standard chemotherapy treatment. The goal is to learn if these lab tests can help match patients with the most effective drugs for their specific cancer.
