Summary

This study is testing if a computer-based reminder tool can help emergency room doctors follow best-practice guidelines when ordering CT scans to check for pulmonary embolism (a dangerous lung blood clot). It will involve 440 doctors across 10 emergency departments. The main goal is to see if the tool increases the use of proper guidelines and reduces unnecessary scans.
