Summary
This study looks at how teriparatide, a bone-building drug, affects the inner structure of bones in 100 men and women with osteoporosis over 24 months. Researchers use a special 3D scanner to see changes in bone thickness and shape at the wrist and shin, beyond just bone density. The goal is to better understand how the drug strengthens bones and reduces fracture risk.
