First seen Nov 19, 2025 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 24 times
Summary
This study tests whether the clot-busting drug tenecteplase can help people who have a stroke caused by a blocked artery in the brain, even when treatment starts 24 to 72 hours after symptoms begin. About 330 adults with moderate to severe stroke will receive either tenecteplase or standard care. The goal is to see if more patients can recover with little or no disability at 90 days.
