First seen Jan 08, 2026 · Last updated Apr 30, 2026 · Updated 20 times
Summary
This study tests whether giving the clot-busting drug Tenecteplase before transferring stroke patients to a specialized hospital can improve their recovery. It involves 572 adults with a major blockage in the brain's front circulation, treated within 4.5 to 24 hours of symptoms. The goal is to see if this early treatment leads to less disability compared to standard care.
