NCT ID NCT07215299

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 25 times

Summary

This study uses a new electrical stimulation technique called temporal interference to safely reach deep brain regions without surgery. Researchers will scan the brains of 30 healthy adults aged 18-50 to see how this method changes brain activity. The goal is to better understand how deep brain areas control thinking and behavior, which could one day help treat conditions like addiction or Parkinson's disease.
