Can a video call help prevent falls? new study tests remote balance training for osteoporosis
NCT ID NCT07148479
First seen Jan 05, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 19 times
Summary
This study compares two ways to improve balance in postmenopausal women with osteoporosis: doing exercises at home via video calls (telerehabilitation) versus in-person training. Both groups will do the same balance and strength exercises. The goal is to see if remote training works as well as traditional sessions to reduce fall risk. About 60 women aged 50-70 with low bone density and balance issues will take part.
