Video calls for recovery: can remote therapy help stroke patients regain independence?

NCT ID NCT07389811

Summary

This study tested whether occupational therapy delivered remotely through video calls could help stroke survivors improve their ability to perform daily activities like bathing, dressing, and cooking. Researchers compared a small group of patients who received this remote guidance to another group who remained on a waiting list for standard care. The goal was to see if this approach could provide meaningful support while people waited for in-person rehabilitation services.
