Summary

This study tests a program called I-SITE, which uses teleophthalmology (taking eye photos remotely) to increase diabetic eye screening rates in urban health systems. Over 12,000 people with diabetes are included. The goal is to see if this approach helps more patients get regular eye exams to catch diabetic retinopathy early.
