First seen Mar 22, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 6 times
Summary
This study tests whether using a smartphone app and remote monitoring can help people with severe sleep apnea use their CPAP machine more regularly. Researchers will follow 200 adults in Brazil who are new to CPAP therapy. Half will get standard care, and half will have their CPAP use tracked remotely. The goal is to see if this digital support improves how often people use the device and how well they sleep.
