First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 29 times
Summary
This study compares two ways of giving buprenorphine (a medication for opioid use disorder): through telemedicine (video calls and mailed medication) versus standard in-person care. About 50 adults with opioid use disorder will be randomly assigned to one of the two groups. The main goal is to see how long people stay in treatment, to find out if telemedicine is as effective as in-person care.
