Virtual speech coach for Parkinson's patients

Summary
This study tested whether a home-based speech and exercise program delivered via telemedicine could improve speech clarity for people with Parkinson's disease. It involved 104 Veterans with Parkinson's who had speech difficulties. Participants were randomly assigned to either the speech exercise program or a general health education program for six months to compare results.
