First seen Jan 26, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 20 times

Summary

This study tested whether managing sleep apnea remotely (via telemedicine) can lower blood pressure as effectively as traditional in-person clinic visits. 344 adults with suspected obstructive sleep apnea in Beijing took part. Researchers compared 24-hour blood pressure readings between those receiving remote care and those attending face-to-face appointments.
