Smartwatch study aims to ease life for distant cancer patients
NCT ID NCT03359759
Summary
This study tested whether using technology could help improve care for people with advanced breast cancer who live far from their treatment center. Fifteen patients used tablets to report symptoms weekly and wore smartwatches that tracked their activity and sleep. Researchers wanted to see if this remote monitoring approach could improve patients' quality of life and satisfaction with their care.
