Doctors come to school via video to help kids breathe easier
NCT ID NCT03545906
Summary
This study tested a school-based program to improve asthma control for urban children aged 4-12 with moderate-to-severe asthma. It combined daily medication given at school with specialist doctor visits conducted via video call (telemedicine) right at the school. The goal was to see if this convenient approach helped children have more days without asthma symptoms compared to standard care.
