Heart patients may skip clinic visits with new telemedicine trial
NCT ID NCT07518030
First seen Apr 12, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 2 times
Summary
This study tests whether using telemedicine—remote check-ins and monitoring—can help people with newly diagnosed heart failure get the right medications faster and more effectively than standard in-person care. About 90 adults with heart failure and reduced pumping function will be split into two groups: one using telemedicine and one receiving usual clinic visits. The goal is to see if telemedicine leads to better medication use and fewer emergency visits or hospital stays.
