Scientists test smart telehealth strategy to help seniors lose weight and improve health

NCT ID NCT06044571

Summary

This study aims to find the most effective telehealth approach to help older adults with obesity and multiple chronic conditions lose weight. Researchers will test two different weight loss programs—one focused on medical guidance and one focused on behavior coaching—and adjust the approach for people who don't respond well initially. The goal is to create a personalized strategy that helps participants lose weight, improve their health, and reduce healthcare costs over a one-year period.
