NCT ID NCT04514471
First seen Jan 12, 2026 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 19 times
Summary
This study tested whether a fully remote, telehealth-based approach can work for studying how different cigarette filter ventilation levels affect smoking habits and exposure to harmful chemicals. 64 adult smokers participated from home, mailing in samples and reporting data via video visits. The goal was to see if this method is practical and acceptable, not to test a treatment.
