Scientists test if smoking studies can go remote
NCT ID NCT04514471
Summary
This was a small pilot study to see if researchers could run a smoking study completely remotely using video calls and mail-in kits. It tested whether cigarettes with less air flow in the filter change how much people smoke or the levels of harmful chemicals in their body. The main goal was to check if this remote study method was practical, not to treat or cure smoking addiction.
