Bilingual navigators guide hispanic smokers through Life-Saving screening decisions
NCT ID NCT07165691
Summary
This study is testing a telehealth coaching program designed specifically for Hispanic adults at high risk for lung cancer. Bilingual patient navigators help participants understand and decide about getting a low-dose CT scan for early cancer detection. The research aims to see if this culturally adapted approach is practical, well-received, and improves screening rates compared to standard doctor discussions.
